Field Trip Program

K-12

STEM-aligned curriculum that brings astronomy standards to life. Each visit includes a planetarium show, guided telescope observation, and hands-on activities tailored to grade level.

Summer Space Camp

Ages 8-14

Week-long immersive camps where young astronomers build telescopes, learn astrophotography, map constellations, and conduct real observational projects under dark Flagstaff skies.

  • Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM

  • Overnight stargazing Friday

Teen Astronomy Fellowship

Ages 14-18

A selective program for serious young astronomers. Fellows assist with public programs, learn to operate the 24-inch telescope, and complete an independent research project.

  • Mentorship with Dr. Okafor
  • College recommendation letters
  • 10 spots per year

Educator Workshops

Teachers

Professional development for teachers wanting to bring more astronomy into their classrooms. Earn continuing education credits while learning observation techniques and curriculum integration.
